I've been looking around or searching for many websites online that could get me started with earning a bit of money online every month. The website that I will refer to today is MyOpinions for Australians. This works for me because I live in Australia. Once I earn over 2000 points, the reward is $20 AUD cashed out straight into my PayPal account almost instantly. The clickable links within this post are affiliate links. This means I will get rewarded a bonus for referring others, however, this is limited to only five new members. There is an identification process to pass when creating a new account. I noticed that my account got verified much quicker than expected after gaining 2000 points in a couple of days.
The aim of this post is to invite at least five new members to create an account with MyOpinions. I will only get 500 points maximum for my referrals. That's $5 AUD to me for writing this post. Creating an account allows others to also do what I have done in the past. Answering surveys while living in Australia. I don't qualify for every single survey that comes my way though. This isn't something that can make a lot of money in a matter of minutes. Each survey takes a few minutes to complete. Very rarely will one survey take an hour. Good thing we still get 20 points for surveys that we don't qualify for. We're looking more into 2-3 days to accumulate our 2000 points on average.
If it takes us 2-3 days to accumulate 2000 points, then there shouldn't be a problem to earn at least $40 to $60 AUD every week. I don't normally do surveys in the weekends because that's a time to relax and spend time with my partner. There is a limit to how much we can make every day because there is a limited amount of surveys available. Come back later or the next day to start doing surveys again. There are actually other websites or companies that are offering surveys, but we are focusing on MyOpinions right now. I've actually been answering surveys for this company for a few months. My status is currently on the Platinum level. Platinum users have the ability to be rewarded more points for completing surveys the following year.
Don't expect to be doing surveys for MyOpinions all day. Once the surveys run out for the day, I would suggest doing something else to spend your time. We do get notified every now and then that a new survey has arrived through email. I like the surveys that wants to ask for my opinion about new movies that have yet to come out. Sometimes we get surveys from the government. Many surveys are about products related to consumers. There are surveys available for practically anyone. Even for those who are unemployed. This company is purely surveys online. Sometimes there's opportunities to record yourself in video through your webcam, but I prefer to skip that. These survey sites are going to pay for my new website!
Let's talk a little about myself and what got my here. A few years ago, I decided to start my own website just for fun. Meaning that I wasn't actually making any money blogging. I was too busy playing games like World of Warcraft and Diablo 3. We have a little confidence to say that anything more than 10 years ago is kind of irrelevant now in our career. I've had a few jobs, most of which was customer service related in the retail industry. I did enjoy my time working for the government though. Nothing wrong with being a public servant. I actually left university because being a scientist simply did not make me happy. I also slowly turned away from being a musician, but that option is still lingering in my feelings.
Only one thing is for certain right now. I'm saving up some money to start another blogging website. Third time's a charm they say. I've already failed twice and add a few hiccups along the way. We can only get stronger. One goal I would like to achieve with my new website is to earn more money than doing surveys online. If I could earn at least $10 per day with my new website then I would call that an achievement. The good thing about running my own website is that it works while I sleep. I guess this is close to what people call passive income. Not entirely passive because we still have to work. Not sure how many blog posts I'd have to do every week, but at least we have a goal of earning at least $10 per day.
My daily routine usually starts around 7:00am and ends around 3:00pm. That's a good 8 hours every day. Don't really want to work in the weekends. I spend most of my time at home in front of the laptop. We're screwed if we don't have any internet. We're also moving house in a couple of months. Hopefully, we'll have internet at our new home by then. We're still running our internet on an ADSL2+ plan with a landline bundle. I don't really use my landline though. The connection is always being interrupted when someone calls the landline. Funny thing is that the only one who calls is my internet service provider (ISP) and that's really annoying. Looking forward to connecting to the National Broadband Network (NBN).
Having a new website is going to be a challenge. There's so many things to think about. I think we're going to need to put some effort in social networking. Not even sure what we're going to be talking about yet. We will be blogging about something and that's for sure. What do entrepreneurs normally do anyway? There's so many ways to make money online. I don't really want to be doing drop-shopping. Well, at least I know what I don't want to be doing. I don't have much problems writing a blog post every now and then. Content is king as they say. Reading articles online over the years, we pick up sayings that would assume that we actually know what we're talking about. That's a bit funny. Best wishes for your surveys hunting online!
